After serving as a Broker for his own firm for many years, and his company merging with SVN, Reid Bennett is currently the National Council Chair for the Multifamily Division of the firm. With 225 offices around the country and 266 multifamily focused advisors, Reid has a good grasp of the multifamily market all over the country. Reid sees many parallels between 2008 and our current economic environment. In this episode, we discuss how he sets seller and buyer expectations, rent collections strategies, and why he feels now is the best time to get started in real estate.

Reid Bennett is a CCIM that serves as the National Council Chair of Multifamily Properties for SVN International and a Senior Vice President for SVN’s Chicago Commercial. Reid focuses on the sale of apartment communities in the Midwest and works with members of his team to serve clients in 150 markets all over the USA.
Dion Huey is a Co-founder at Delta Bridge Capital LLC which is a multifamily real estate investment company that invests in value-add apartment communities in the United States. He earned a master's degree in finance at Northeastern University in 2017 and worked on multiple business syndications as a financial analyst for Boston-based Plateau Asset Management which is a private equity search fund that has $30 million AUM. In 2017, Dion was an analyst on a deal team that advised Citic Investment Bank's Hong Kong private equity division on the syndication of a $1.5 billion acquisition of a hotel in New York. He is currently the host of The Multifamily Investor Situation Room Podcast.
